Growing up on an Iowa farm, she witnessed firsthand the rapid changes that technology brought to how people work and earn a living, ultimately affecting the success of entire communities.

With piano performance, psychology, and data science degrees, Sadie has a diverse educational background. Sadie also has an extraordinary professional background, having transitioned from a neuroscience lab studying emotional learning and memory to leading data science teams and consulting for Fortune 500 companies in AI.

 

Throughout her work, she observed a lack of progress in diversity & inclusion efforts despite many good intentions in data careers. Today, Sadie is focused on increasing access and pathways to technology education for all, striving to create a more equal and just future.
